These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Document Forge (the "Service"), operated by Document Forge ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Document Forge uses artificial intelligence to generate documents (such as resumes, cover letters, letters, proposals, and other written materials) based on the details you provide. The Service produces drafts to help you write faster. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any document before you rely on or use it.
Some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.
Generating a document consumes "credits." Credits may be obtained through a free trial, an access code, or purchase. Prices are shown on the site (for example, individual documents, multi-document packs, or unlimited access) and are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We don't store your full card details. We may change prices and pack contents at any time; changes don't affect credits you've already purchased.
Unlimited access is intended for ordinary individual use. We may apply reasonable fair-use limits to prevent abuse, automated/bulk scraping, or activity that imposes excessive cost or load.
Because the Service delivers digital goods and each generated document carries real processing costs, the following applies:
You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or harmful content; to impersonate others; to violate anyone's rights; or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
You retain rights to the details you submit and, as between you and us, to the documents you generate. You're responsible for how you use generated documents. You grant us the limited right to process your inputs in order to provide the Service (including sending them to our AI provider to produce your document).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that generated content will be accurate, complete, fit for a particular purpose, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Document Forge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us or others.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
